SSBBW / FA Quote of the Moment

"I am attracted to SSBBWs for many reasons. I love the feel of their soft bodies. Anyone know a man who does not like the soft feeling of boobs? OK - there is the reason! Fundamental instinct. Nothing more, nothing less. An SSBBW is simply "boobs all over". And I am a touch addict - so there is no escape (pun not intended - but for real)." ~ Mogens (BC, Canada) [FA]

Wardrobe Changes for the New Year

It's January 2020 everyone! It's the time for resolutions and big changes; new year, new you! One of the easiest changes you can make is to your wardrobe; just a few basic updates and you'll have a closet full of showstopping outfits guaranteed to make a major impression in the coming year.

1. Monochromatic Outfits

Many people think dressing in one color can be basic, if not a little boring. But the monochromatic trend is here to prove naysayers wrong. An outfit comprised of one color gives the eye one line to follow, making your silhouette appear leaner, and allows your face and hair to stand out even more. And an all-black ensemble isn't your only option; a monochromatic outfit can be any color, and jewel toned colors are having a major moment right now. Ultimately, it's up to you, and what colors you feel best wearing.
2. Animal Print

Animal print is having a major moment right now, and the best way to show it off is through a singular statement pieces inside of making it your entire outfit. A shirt or a pair of shoes in your favorite animal print will pack more of a punch against a neutral backdrop, and definitely get you noticed in all the right ways
3. Cardigans

This is selfishly the trend I am most excited to hear is “in” this year. I love me a cardigan; if I can find a way to work it into an outfit I totally will. Slouchy, boyfriend cut, faux fur, button down; no cardigan type is off limits with this trend.
4. Straight Leg Jeans

Straight leg jeans are the savior for those who aren't into wide leg jeans or skinny jeans; it strikes the balance between the two for the ultimate denim sweet spot. Straight leg jeans balance out your silhouette, making you look more streamlined, and provide just enough body skimming denim to highlight your curves in the best way possible.
5. Utility Inspired Pieces

Utility and military inspired fashion pieces have long been popular but will have a major moment in 2020. The easiest way to ease into the utility trend is with a utility anorak jacket in a fun color. It's a piece than can easily be layered, and worn between multiple outfits.

Fat Positive Blogs

Blogs are a wonderful source of information. I have found them to be a useful Fat resource, especially when it comes to body positivity and fatshion. It is so helpful to see what clothes look like on bodies that are shaped like ours. It is also helpful to know that there are others out there who have the same life struggles that we have. You might get a different perspective on how to deal with things, based on the experiences of others.

I recently joined a group of plus size bloggers. We are taking one fashion topic a month and doing a blog hop. Our first topic was leggings. We all did a blog about it, linked our blogs, and published them at the same time. It is so great to see the many different ways an item can be worn on a fat person, from smaller plus to super plus.

Here is a link to my blog. In it, you will find the links to all the other blogs.
