Springing Into Spring
Spring has sprung, but has your wardrobe? The beautiful colors of spring can be yours in your wardrobe. Don't be afraid of wearing bright colors. They can add life and beauty to your closet and body and can instantly pump up your mood, too. Color is big for this spring, with bright blues, pinks, yellows, and greens seen in every piece of clothing that you can imagine from tops to pants to undies. I myself am excited about the many different options that we have in clothing this season. I am ready to shed the black, brown, and dark clothing and move to clothing that is more exciting and spring-like. What are some things that you want to be sure to add to your own spring wardrobe?
Capri and Crop Pants
Capri and crop pants are a must-have for spring. They offer a wonderful option for the in-between temperatures of spring and for those of us who do not want to bare our legs just yet. These pants can be found in a plethora of different colors and fabrics for you to choose from. If your budget is limited, you may want to choose a few pairs of crops or capris in colors that you can match with a variety of different tops. This can help you to create a new look easily and no one will be the wiser.
The number of different styles in tops is often overwhelming. From wrap tops to tunics to knit shirts and more, you are sure to find a top that you will love for the spring. Flaunt what you have by choosing shirts that flaunt your curves. This may include v-necked shirts that show just enough skin or shirts that wrap the body to help create a more hourglass shape. Find the shirts that you are comfortable in and that make the most of your curves. By choosing a wide variety of different colors, you can create many different looks for daytime and nighttime.
I just could not live without my collection of tank tops. They work great under those v-necked shirts that may show just a little too much skin and they are a great look for under those sheer tops that are so popular right now. Having a variety of colors will help you to get more use out of your tops, because you will be able to create different color combinations to get more value out of your wardrobe.
Dresses and skirts
Many women underestimate the value of a dress or skirt in their wardrobe. Having a dressier outfit ready to go in your closet is great for a date night with your significant other or for other dressy occasions. Skirts and dresses can help to enhance our natural curves, too. From flowing sundresses to colorful skirts, you are able to create the perfect look that you will feel confident and beautiful in.
Don't forget a coordinating necklace, earrings, and/or bracelet for your new outfits. This is a great way to dress them up or down, depending upon your needs. This is also a great way to lead the eye away from the parts that you may not want noticed. By adding chunky beads, long necklaces, and eye-catching earrings, you can finish off your look and be noticed.
Spring is a great time to try out new styles and colors. You will be amazed at the many different looks that you can find that will make the most of your God-given curves. Don't be afraid to buy clothes that fit against the body. If you got it, flaunt it!

Fat Positive Blogs
Blogs are a wonderful source of information. I have found them to be a useful Fat resource, especially when it comes to body positivity and fatshion. It is so helpful to see what clothes look like on bodies that are shaped like ours. It is also helpful to know that there are others out there who have the same life struggles that we have. You might get a different perspective on how to deal with things, based on the experiences of others.
I recently joined a group of plus size bloggers. We are taking one fashion topic a month and doing a blog hop. Our first topic was leggings. We all did a blog about it, linked our blogs, and published them at the same time. It is so great to see the many different ways an item can be worn on a fat person, from smaller plus to super plus.
Here is a link to my blog. In it, you will find the links to all the other blogs.
Here is a list of some fat positive blogs that might help you on your journey:
"The aim of a joke is not to degrade the human being, but to remind him that he is already degraded."
"Easter says you can put truth in a grave, but it won't stay there."
