Our Mission
SSBBW / FA Quote of the Moment

"I am attracted to SSBBWs for many reasons. I love the feel of their soft bodies. Anyone know a man who does not like the soft feeling of boobs? OK - there is the reason! Fundamental instinct. Nothing more, nothing less. An SSBBW is simply "boobs all over". And I am a touch addict - so there is no escape (pun not intended - but for real)." ~ Mogens (BC, Canada) [FA]

Self Acceptance and Society/Fat Acceptance

Self acceptance is loving and appreciating yourself even if there are things you'd eventually like to change. Fat acceptance or society acceptance is getting society as a whole to accept that we have the same rights as everyone else and to reduce prejudice within the community.

A Wide Spectrum of Inspiring Mothers

In preparation for writing this blog, I had the humbling realization that I have been a mother for over 30 years, which is a really long time to be anything at all. To be a mother is truly a humbling achievement and one that can't be taken lightly. In honor of Mother's Day, I'd like to recognize mothers across the spectrum - mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, god-mothers, mentors and so many more - who give a broad meaning to what it is to be a mother.

In my life, my biological mother was absent from my life from the time I was two years old. I was, however, blessed with a step-mother and mother-in-law who served as stand-ins for as long as I can remember. They have been my earthly angels and in great part helped make me the woman - and mother - I am today.

My step-mother taught me that biology may link your DNA to your parents, but it doesn't take DNA to link your hearts. My step-mom has cared for and about me in times of worry and stress over the years, advised and counseled me and guided me through some really tough times. She has been a constant treasure and taught me how to point the mirror at myself and see what others see in me. There have been times she has restored both my faith and my self-esteem like no one else could. She taught me what unconditional love really means and I am truly blessed to call her "mom."

My former mother-in-law was a course in independence. Although she passed away several years ago, her spirit, self-reliance, candor, unwavering support and encouragement got me through my college years in my 30's (after her son and I divorced, no less) and for these wonderful attributes, I will be forever grateful and remember her with love.

There are so many women I've come across who've made such an undeniable impact on my life - from grandmothers to great-grandmothers and friends who are moms of fur babies to teachers who assured me I could follow my dreams. Inspiring moms are everywhere! And again, it doesn't require DNA to link you to a mom who inspires you. I am lucky to have had many such women in my life.

In honor of all mamas in all capacities across the board - thank you. For your commitment, perseverance, dedication and selflessness in so many ways. There's no handbook to motherhood, yet we still manage to do a pretty effective job.

Be sure to thank a mom today and have a Happy Mother's Day!
