What We All Want - Beautiful Hair!

Hair, which is hands down one of the most essential and beautiful parts of a woman's appearance, can be difficult to nail sometimes.

We are not all Youtube experts who can twist, curl and accessorize our hair in minutes in the most fashionable ways. And sometimes we may have the right dress (which is an achievement on its own!) but have no clue what to do with our hair.

And the sad thing is? No matter how perfect your outfit and style looks, if your hair is off, you drop from fabulous to drabulous in a minute.

This month, we are exploring various hairstyles that look great on just about any woman! Regardless of your face shape, hair length, preferred style, there's something here for you. We hope you find something you love here!

Layered hair

Layered hair, especially one like this called the short bob layer, is simply beautiful!

Adding layers to your hair reduces the chunky look and softens your face. You can choose to layer your hair whether it's long or short. It will make your face less plump and give you a modern, young and easy look.

Braids can be styled to suit any occasion. Braids are not just protective of your hair, they're forever trendy.

The versatility braids present when it comes to styling is enviable. Imagine holding your braids in a bun for work and then letting it all down to party at night without much effort. Best part? They can last for a month or two and still look great!

Pixie Cut

Are you ready to cut your hair? A pixie cut is definitely the style for you! A pixie cut is edgy, fresh and daring.

Losing several inches of your hair can be scary. But for a great pixie cut, it's always worth it. It shows your face and accentuates your features. It's a little like getting a bad boy haircut with a touch of sass, and it's very easy to maintain.

Wavy Hair

Wavy hair is another hairstyle which is easy to achieve. The perfect tool for a wavy hair is the hot iron.

Alternatively, you can dampen your hair, part the hair into 6 sections and braid each section. Allow this to sit overnight before you unbraid it. Wavy hair is suitable for both informal and informal settings such as work, beach or any outing. For wavy hair, the curlier the better. This is because the curls become less pronounced as time passes.

Try any of these styles to switch up your look and share your experience with us via our Facebook page.

Own your hair, love it and enjoy it!

Fat Positive Blogs

Blogs are a wonderful source of information. I have found them to be a useful Fat resource, especially when it comes to body positivity and fatshion. It is so helpful to see what clothes look like on bodies that are shaped like ours. It is also helpful to know that there are others out there who have the same life struggles that we have. You might get a different perspective on how to deal with things, based on the experiences of others.

I recently joined a group of plus size bloggers. We are taking one fashion topic a month and doing a blog hop. Our first topic was leggings. We all did a blog about it, linked our blogs, and published them at the same time. It is so great to see the many different ways an item can be worn on a fat person, from smaller plus to super plus.

Here is a link to my blog. In it, you will find the links to all the other blogs.

Here is a list of some fat positive blogs that might help you on your journey:
