Nighttime Skin Care Routine For The Lady Who Loves MakeUp
If you love makeup, you know it's a big deal to learn to maintain your skin underneath your makeup. Your skin is a canvas. Therefore, the better it feels, the better it would look with makeup on.

Rule 1 - Never leave your makeup on overnight
During the day sweat and oil accumulate on your face. Spare your skin the dirt. You don't want to breed bacteria on your face.
Make it a point to clean your makeup at night, no matter how sleepy or tired you are or how little makeup you applied that day. You should know that your skin repairs itself at night, so go to bed with it as clean as possible!
Rule 2 - Remove makeup with coconut oil
By night time, your makeup would have sucked enough moisture from your skin. Using coconut oil to remove your make up kills two beds with one stone.
First, it helps takes off your makeup easily - whether matte or silk. Secondly, it has antibacterial properties, antioxidants, reduces redness and inflammation and infuses the skin with moisture.
So in one task, you get to wipe your makeup and moisturize your skin. Dab a generous portion of coconut oil on your face and wipe off with a damp cloth or cotton wool.
Rule 3 - Be gentle on the eye area
The skin around the eye is sensitive, thin and contains a lot of blood vessels. It is also prone to redness and darkening.
Areas around the eyes should be cleaned gently. Use cotton wool doused in coconut oil to clean all forms of eyeshadow and eyeliner. Remember to take off your faux eyelashes if any before you wash the area.
Rule 4 - Scrub your face
Use good (preferably organic) face wash for your skin. Leave it on for a couple of minutes, and then scrub gently with a sponge or face scrub. This will clean any makeup left on your face. Rinse your face with cold water to close up your pores.
Using black soap (as a facial wash) has anti-aging properties as well as ingredients which prevent acne, skin irritations and reduces spots.
Rule 5 - Exfoliate at least once a week
Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin and increase blood circulation. You can exfoliate at home with a mixture of honey and sugar with a dash of lemon.
Honey has antioxidants and antibacterial which reduces acne; sugar serves as a scrub to remove the dead skin; lemon eliminates blackheads, acne and reduces spots.
The benefits are numerous but never exfoliate more than twice a week! It will strip off most of your skin's natural oils.
You can achieve beautiful skin with a little more effort. All items listed above are natural and affordable. Good luck!

Blogs are a wonderful source of information. I have found them to be a useful Fat resource, especially when it comes to body positivity and fatshion. It is so helpful to see what clothes look like on bodies that are shaped like ours. It is also helpful to know that there are others out there who have the same life struggles that we have. You might get a different perspective on how to deal with things, based on the experiences of others.
I recently joined a group of plus size bloggers. We are taking one fashion topic a month and doing a blog hop. Our first topic was leggings. We all did a blog about it, linked our blogs, and published them at the same time. It is so great to see the many different ways an item can be worn on a fat person, from smaller plus to super plus.
