Women: Body-Positive Art to Inspire and Empower
by Carol Rossetti
Rossetti's commanding images are so empowering, they belong on billboards, street corners, schools, offices- everywhere we spend time-to remind us that our unique experiences and expressions make us beautiful and whole.
Rossetti insists that we can choose to embrace who we are and stop trying so hard to please the rest of the world. That we can choose to ignore the subtle gender oppression that still exists in society today and live everyday as confident self-loving women. She wants us to know that regardless of where in the world we are, we all go through similar issues and we can relate to each other.
"I can't change the world by myself," Rossetti has said, "but I'd love to know that my work made people review their privileges and be more open to understanding and respecting one another."
You can buy a Kindle version of this book on Amazon for $10.49. Let's all remember, this month, to go out in the world, loving ourselves completely and daring greatly.
