Hack! How to remove and prevent deodorant stains from your clothes without laundry

Smelling fresh everyday starts from taking a clean bath, applying good deodorant, and wearing sweet scented perfume. Unlike perfume which can be omitted when dressing up, deodorant has become a necessity just like taking a shower.

Unfortunately though, deodorants sometimes stain our clothes and the frustration of of having a stain on your outfit minutes before going out is really annoying and can be avoided.

In this post, we'll tackle ways to remove deodorant stains from your clothes and to prevent them all together.

Removing Deodorant Stains (Without Water)

Pantyhose

Next time you get a run in your pantyhose, consider keeping them for a day when your deodorant ruins your clothes. Pantyhoses are good for cleaning all the white stains your deodorant leaves on your clothes. Clean any deodorant stain on your clothes with a pantyhose till it disappears.

Dryer Sheets

Dryer sheets are a major hack for women and homes in general. It can be used to make static hair lie, as a car freshner and to clean pots and pans amongst other things .

To remove deodorant stains however, use a new or used dryer sheet. Make sure that the dryer sheet is completely dry with no trace of moisture. Wad it up and rub on the deodorant stain and watch it magically vanish.

Foam Rubber Lining of a hanger

Locate a laundry hanger with the foam covering and then remove the foam rubber on the hanger. Once you have successfully removed the lining covering on the hanger, rub it on the affected parts to remove the deodorant stain.

Now let's go on to look at how to prevent these stains all together.

Preventing Deodorant Stains

You have to wait for the deodorant to dry completely before wearing your clothes or put on your clothes before applying. Also avoid wearing too much deodorant, and you'll be fine.

That's all the tips we have this week!

Now, you know what to do to wear your little black dress free of deodorant stains. Do you know of other hacks to handle deodorant stains that's not in this list?

Fat Positive Blogs

Blogs are a wonderful source of information. I have found them to be a useful Fat resource, especially when it comes to body positivity and fatshion. It is so helpful to see what clothes look like on bodies that are shaped like ours. It is also helpful to know that there are others out there who have the same life struggles that we have. You might get a different perspective on how to deal with things, based on the experiences of others.

I recently joined a group of plus size bloggers. We are taking one fashion topic a month and doing a blog hop. Our first topic was leggings. We all did a blog about it, linked our blogs, and published them at the same time. It is so great to see the many different ways an item can be worn on a fat person, from smaller plus to super plus.

Here is a link to my blog. In it, you will find the links to all the other blogs.
