Reviews of movies, tv shows and ssbbw/bbw art and artists

Do you know of a movie or tv show that features ssbbw/bbw that you'd like us to review? Or perhaps you want to write a review yourself and see it in print! Or maybe you know of some great ssbbw/bbw art you want us to showcase. Let us know at

Jamie Lopez, better known as Babydoll, is a gorgeous, multi-talented tour de force. She is a wildly successful couture fashion designer, make-up artist, and owner of the first high glam beauty salon built to cater to SSBBWs! Jamie is also a size activist with a big voice, and I don't mean that figuratively! With an early sneak peek of her first single, Broken Bones, Jamie revealed yet another talent and beauty with her lovely singing voice. Always one to put herself out there to represent SSBBWs, Jamie has now begun a career in the music industry. I was lucky enough to be granted an interview with this fabulous SSBBW rising star, and she has a message for all of us big girls! You can hear her amazing music here (NSFW)... Listen while you read more below!

Toni: When did you start singing?

Jamie: I started singing at 5 I've always been in choir and talent shows up until my senior year in high school. I stopped singing for a while because I had to grow up very fast, being on my own at 18, but it has always been my form of release and my #1 passion

Toni: Who are your biggest music influences?

Jamie: My biggest music influences are Mariah Carey, Etta James, and Christina Aguilera.

Toni: You have a very successful fashion and make-up line, what inspired you to take that to the next level and create a music video?

Jamie: Yes I have my salon and fashion and make up line .. But music has always been number 1 for me .. And I felt like it was time for me to share my talent with the world because there are no BBW /SSBBW singers out there and if they are they have all lost weight .. And I wanted to break the mold on that.

Toni: Did you write "Broken Bones"- if so, what inspired you- if not, who did and what drew you to perform this particular song.

Jamie: I co wrote broken bones with my talented song writer, Rose. The song is my story with my ex boyfriend and how he cheated on me with multiple women. We were together 2 years, and I never once went through his phone. The one time I did, my entire world changed .. He was sleeping with 7 different women and that betrayal took me under a very deep depression and my therapy was music .. It really gave me my sparkle back.

Toni: As an SSBBW in the entertainment and beauty industry, what have you learned that you'd like to pass on to our SSBBW readers?

Jamie: As an SSBBW in the entertainment industry I've learned to have some tough skin! But also to embrace who I am and always put my best foot forward to inspire other woman to be fearless and unstoppable.

Toni: Where can we buy your music?

Jamie: You can buy my music on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and Google Play. My single “Broken Bones” was out April 9th . I am soo excited for you all to take this musical journey with me !

Toni: Is there anything else you'd like to say to our readers?

Jamie: All I do is for you! I appreciate all your love and support. No matter what the world thinks... You are beautiful!

Be sure to keep your eye out for Jamie's new single, "F**kboi" dropping July 28th. You can keep up with all of Jamie's amazing work via her website where you can also hear her beautiful ballad “Broken Bones at: You can also keep up with her on facebook:
