Our Mission
SSBBW / FA Quote of the Moment

"What do I like about being an SSBBW? There are a couple of things that come to mind. I love that SSBBW's seem to represent all the goodness and kindness of the human race. We exude love; love for people, love for food, love for life. Also, on a personal note, I have found an advantage to being an SSBBW. Our society is shallow. Putting looks and thinness above all other qualities. As an SSBBW, we have a way of weeding out those shallow people, and find the "good" people; the people that dont care about size, and see us for the people we are inside." ~ Ceci [SSBBW]

Information and rants about living in the real world as an SSBBW

As SSBBWs, we live in a world built for smaller people. Each day we face challenges to fit in, or even to just fit. While education and information are powerful tools, our best resource is each other. Let us know your tips or rants about this subject at

"This is more of a comment than a question I suppose, but being a plus sized male model, this is something I can get behind. Keep up the good work in supporting our plus sized community :)"

"There's something like a line of gold thread running through a man's words when he talks to his daughter, and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you to pick up in your hands and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself."
~John Gregory Brown, Decorations in a Ruined Cemetery, 1994
"Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever."
