Welcome to SSBBW Magazine

An online magazine for SSBBWs and written by SSBBWs.

As SSBBWs we need to realize that our size does not make us second-class citizens! We are mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, girlfriends, teachers, doctors, lawyers; we are everywhere and we make differences in the lives of the people around us. It is our mission to build a support system for super-sized women everywhere.

With each issue, we plan to offer educational and entertaining articles, inspiration, motivation, advice, super-size clothing sources, recipes, tips on how to cope with our size, and so much more. We even have a section dedicated to FAs written by FAs and a forum for keeping in touch with our new friends.

We would like to thank you for your support and wonderful comments. We are continually striving to make this magazine better and to offer the best information, advice, and inspiration to you.

IN THIS ISSUE....

September 2011. Ten years ago this month America and the world watched as the World Trade Center in New York City was cold heartedly attacked by terroists. The entire world watched in shock and the loss was felt world wide. Our lives were forever changed by this tragic event and we urge you all to take a moment on September 11th to remember those that died on that day and those who have lost their lives in the decade since in the war against terroism.

The picture on the left was taken just hours after the 9/11 attacks. Three firefighters had spontaneously used a U.S. flag taken off a yacht and raised it in the wreckage of the World Trade Center.

NEW FEATURE: SSBBWs to blog about their lives each month...

Our vision with this magazine is to let you know that you are not alone. There are other SSBBWs around the world with the same issues, thoughts, worries and joys as you have. Whether you have accepted your weight and love your body, whether you are actively working to lose weight or whether you want to get healthier and have more mobility but don't know where to start, you are not alone.

Whether you are single or in a relationship, have children or not, work or are unemployed, housebound or relatively mobile, healthy or have medical issues, you are not alone.

Let's band together and share our stories, our triumphs and our pain. Click here to view this months blogs.
