VELVEETA® Cheesy Broccoli Soup
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 Tbsp. flour
2-1/2 cups milk
3/4 lb. (12 oz.) VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

MELT butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes
or until onion is tender. Add flour; cook 1 minute or until bubbly, stirring constantly.
STIR in milk. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 1 minute.
ADD remaining ingredients. Cook until VELVEETA is melted and soup is heated
through, stirring occasionally.


Heart Breadsticks
Ingredients

1 can (11 oz.) refrigerated soft breadsticks
2 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Separate breadstick dough into 12 pieces. Twist 2 pieces
together; form into heart shape on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough
pieces to make a total of 6 hearts.
SPRINKLE evenly with cheese and thyme.
BAKE 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.

optional: Substitute dried oregano leaves for the thyme leaves.


Heart-Shaped Pita Sandwich
Ingredients

1 whole wheat pita bread
1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. dijon mustard
6 slices turkey breast
1 sharp cheddar singles
1 slice red pepper
1 leaf lettuce leaf, shredded

Directions

TRIM top of pita bread with kitchen shears or sharp knife to resemble heart.
Wrap bread loosely in plastic wrap.
MICROWAVE on HIGH 15 sec.
SPREAD inside of pita bread with mayo and mustard; fill with remaining
ingredients.


Berries in the Snow
Ingredients

1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups thawed whipped topping
1 can (20 oz.) berry pie filling, any flavor, divided

Directions

MIX cream cheese and sugar until well blended. Stir in whipped topping.
LAYER heaping 2 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture and 2 Tbsp. pie filling in each
of eight stemmed glasses or dessert dishes. Repeat layers.
STORE leftovers in refrigerator.


Hula Punch
Ingredients

4 medium bananas
2 cups cold unsweetened pineapple juice
1 cup KOOL-AID Tropical Punch Flavor Sugar-Sweetened Soft Drink Mix
2 cups cold orange juice
2 qt. (8 cups) mixed cold water and ice

Directions

PLACE bananas and pineapple juice in blender container; cover.
Blend on high speed until well blended.
MEASURE drink mix into punch bowl or large pitcher. Add orange juice;
stir until drink mix is completely dissolved. Add cold water and ice; stir.
ADD banana mixture; stir until well blended.
