Self Acceptance and Society/Fat Acceptance
Self acceptance is loving and appreciating yourself even if there are things you'd eventually like to change. Fat acceptance or society acceptance is getting society as a whole to accept that we have the same rights has everyone else and to reduce prejudice within the community.

Be Your Own Valentine
February can be a horrible month if you’re single. Everyone around you is talking about flowers and chocolates and romantic dinners. It’s easy to sit at home and feel sorry for yourself! But you don’t have to. There are a million ways you can be your own valentine.
Firstly, if you have favourite clothes or jewellery then start to wear them. That can make you feel better straight away. And have a look around your house or apartment. Is there anything that need repairing or replacing? Is your place a mess? See if you can start to clean up, or get some helpers in to repair things. That also have a positive impact on the way you feel.
You should also write a list of your favourite things and see how many of those you can cram into Valentine’s Day. Focusing on food isn’t the only way of course – what about TV shows, movies, books, and music. Drag it all out and have yourself a great night. These things are a great way to remind yourself that no one else can make you happy – you have to make *yourself* happy!
Next on your list is some Oprah-style Random Acts of Kindness. Make a phone call to someone who will appreciate it, give a hot coffee to a homeless guy, tip a bit more and you’ll be secretly making everyone else around you have a great day and so you’ll feel warm and fuzzy!
If all else fails then the quickest way to get yourself some loving on Valentine’s Day is to visit an animal shelter! Animals don’t care at all about who you are or what you look like – and it’s impossible not to feel happy surrounded by kittens jumping all over you or playing with puppies. Just be careful you don’t get tempted to take them all home!
