ACCEPTANCE

Self Acceptance and Society/Fat Acceptance

Self acceptance is loving and appreciating yourself even if there are things you'd eventually like to change. Fat acceptance or society acceptance is getting society as a whole to accept that we have the same rights has everyone else and to reduce prejudice within the community.

"You're fat!"

Even on the playground, kids ganged up on me to beat me. I asked, "what for?" Then when I look back at it, I realize. I was fat. From my experience, I don't want people to suffer like I did. Thats why I call myself an advocate for BBWs and SSBBWs, slowly spreading the message. But its always hard when people spew "who cares what fat people think?" Well... I do. And so do millions of other people. FAs, BBWs, SSBBWs, etc. Society today has brainwashed people to the extreme to kind of hate them. Many friends I have who I consider BBWs or SSBBWs had a hard time this time last year. One's father was embarrassed to walk around in public with his "morbidly obese" daughter. How do you think this made her feel? But she moved on to accept herself, and live better. Another friend who lives in a small town up in New York is always known as "the fat ugly goth/emo chick." Why ugly? Because she's fat? I found nothing ugly about her. Once again, society labels another innocent person. It's distressing when many people have to suffer because of something as trivial as weight. Some can't help their weight. It may be genetic.

All I'm saying is that BBWs, BHMs, SSBBWs, and SSBHMs don't need to suffer from society, all they need is love to make their lives that much greater!
